The school I went to was the University of Sunderland in Sunderland, UK. The course started in September last year and ended in mid-May.(24字)

My favorite course is Tourism and Heritage Management.The reason I like this course is because several of the courses are outdoor courses. The teacher will take us to local museums or churches and places about historical sites.There is a Sunderland church next to the University of Sunderland, and one of the courses was held there. The staff inside introduced the students to everything in the church and also introduced the history of the church.The most impressive thing for me was an outdoor class in Sunderland Park. It was a large park and in front of the park was a museum that collected many works of art, as well as the history of local football and the history of the museum.The way the teacher teaches classes is also very special. Outdoor classes will be gathered directly at the class location, and then the teacher will take us on a tour and introduce the stories of each historical site. This class method is very different from the traditional class method. The way of explanation allows students to better understand the content of this course.The grading standard for this class is through the submission of blogs. Students need to create their blogs, such as website travel blogs. The topic requires us to make a local tour guide, such as the teacher introducing each item in class. A method of historical relics. However, in this process, students need to explain the places they have visited. Through this assignment, they can also learn more about British tourist attractions and history.I recommend this class. I think it's worthwhile and interesting!(270字)

(三)生活環境

I live in the city center of Sunderland. Although shopping is very convenient, the shops close at 6 pm, and the prices in restaurants outside are not low, so I will go to the supermarket during the day to buy ingredients and cook them myself.The University of Sunderland has two campuses. One is located in the city center and the other is by the river. All my courses are on the riverside campus. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the school from my home.There is a subway station near my home that leads to Newcastle and Newcastle Airport, which is very convenient in terms of life. Newcastle is a bigger city, where there are large shopping malls and cinemas, and there are more people at night. In terms of food, it is very convenient. There are not many restaurants in Deland, so there are few choices and because of the price, most of them need to be cooked by yourself.When I first arrived in the UK, I didn’t feel uncomfortable with the weather. However, in winter, the daylight hours are very short and it usually gets dark at 4 pm. The temperature in winter is also very low. At first, I was a little uncomfortable with the local weather. The most serious thing for me was Humidity, the humidity there is very low and nosebleeds are common in the beginning. (233字)

In the beginning, there was not much discomfort, nor was there much problem in communication. It was just that occasionally there were some accents that I couldn’t understand, but once I got used to listening to the British accent, I could understand most of them. I was the least adaptable. Regarding food, British food is not delicious. Most restaurants are fried chicken, burgers, and pizza, and there is only one Chinese restaurant in Sunderland.The trouble for me is that there have been many trippings where I live, and the British are very slow to deal with things, requiring an emergency call to the office, on one occasion the person who answered the phone was Indian and her accent was difficult not understanding the problem caused it to take longer to deal with the tripping problem.At the beginning of the course, I was a little unaccustomed to the British teaching method. Many times the teacher would interact with classmates or ask classmates to discuss and make reports, and the report format was also biased toward discussions with the teacher. At the same time, most students needed to learn by themselves. My thinking ability and communication ability were not very good in this part at the beginning but after several discussions with other students, I gradually got used to it.In terms of weather, I still didn't like the British weather until I left the UK. It often rains suddenly and heavily, and British people usually don't hold umbrellas on the road because the wind is very strong there.(260字)

(五)大三出國建議

I think that when choosing to study abroad, after going to the UK, I feel that the UK is not a place worth studying for a year, but it is worth experiencing life there. All life will become very different. You can become more familiar with the British accent. There is a lot to value in the UK. Every city has a different feel when it comes to places to visit. When you study abroad, you will encounter problems at the beginning. During this time, you have to learn to think about how to solve them. You will encounter many problems in life and schoolwork. But after going through these problems, you can make progress and see the problems more calmly and then solve them. But in terms of security, I think the UK is an unsafe place. There will be thieves or robberies in cities such as London. You may encounter these things on the road and you can see them in the news. There will be many incidents when you first enter the UK. Things to note require preparation in advance.All in all, I don’t have a lot of advice to give you about studying in the UK, because after living in the UK for a year, you will still feel that there are many inconveniences and you will not adapt to the food. But school and life can make you feel comfortable in the UK. I have made a lot of progress this year, both in my studies and in my life.(257字)
