Winona State University has a robust academic atmosphere, with professors who are both rigorous and approachable. In class, professors encourage active participation and discussions, a stark contrast to the lecture-based education I experienced back home. To keep up with the coursework, I had to dedicate substantial time to pre-class preparation and post-class review. Group discussions and project collaborations are integral parts of the curriculum, greatly enhancing my communication skills and teamwork abilities. In terms of academic research, the library and online resources are abundant. The academic workshops and seminars offered by the library also significantly supported my research endeavors. Moreover, professors are very helpful and often available during office hours to provide guidance and answer questions. One of the courses is called Web Technology. This course includes lab sessions in every class and focuses primarily on front-end web development. I highly recommend this course because the instructor is very dedicated to teaching and ensures that all students keep up with the material. Additionally, the instructor spends time after class to help students who encounter difficulties. The instructor's name is Bari, MM. (181字)

Upon arriving in Winona, the first thing that struck me was the tranquility and friendliness of this small city. Nestled along the Mississippi River, Winona boasts beautiful scenery and distinct seasons. The local residents are exceptionally welcoming, which helped me quickly acclimate to my new environment. Initially, language barriers and cultural differences were significant challenges. To better adapt, I actively participated in orientation week, which not only helped me make new friends but also gave me a deeper understanding of the local culture. Winona State University offers a vibrant campus life with a variety of clubs and organizations covering cultural, sports, and arts activities. Allowed me to meet people from diverse backgrounds. We often organized gatherings and short trips, exploring the scenic beauty of Minnesota. (125字)

Language barriers were a major challenge initially. Although I had taken English language courses before coming to the USA, real-life communication was still difficult. To improve my English skills, engaged in frequent interactions with local and other international students. This not only improved my language proficiency but also deepened my understanding of different cultures. This study abroad experience not only advanced my academic achievements but also significantly fostered my personal growth. Living in a foreign country taught me to think independently and manage myself effectively. Facing various challenges, I became more resilient and confident. Interacting with students from around the world broadened my horizons and improved my cross-cultural communication skills. (110字)
