(一)基本資料

I applied to Winona State University, located in Winona, Minnesota. The period of study abroad will be from August 2023 to May 2024. My courses cover a wide range: 1. ENGLISH 107: ACADEMIC READING & WRITING 2. POLS 130: Introduction to International Relations 3. SOC 150: Introduction to Sociology 4. GEOG 213: Cultural Geography 5. BUSA 291: Legal Environment of Business 6. PSY 210: Introduction to Psychological Sciences 7. BSUA 361: Negotiations and Influence(57字)

One of my favorite classes is PSY210, Dr. Fried is very professional and uses a variety of teaching materials in the classroom to make it easier for students to understand the content of the teaching, it is highly recommended that students interested in psychology can take Dr. Fried's PSY210, although it covers a wide range of subjects, but you can learn a lot of psychology-related knowledge, from the human test how to operate to cause us to have a mental illness are introduced You can choose this class toward your own area of interest to select a class. The second professor I would like to recommend is Prof. Faircloth, whom I interviewed before the semester started because I was worried about the content and teaching style of the class, and she was very understanding and willing to help international students get used to the class, and she would ask me after each class. After each class, she would ask me how the class was and if I had any questions. I would recommend taking her BUSA361 class, which is designed to teach how to communicate in business, from interviews, proposal discussions, to bargaining with collaborators, all of which are analyzed in detail. The class also has a lot of role-play like activities to let you experience how to react when you are in a certain role and to train your eloquence.(231字)

The campus is very remote and basically it's not convenient to get anywhere, so the ideal situation is to make American friends who have cars, but there are buses that run in different areas of Winona, and Winona students can take them for free with their student IDs. The only downside is that it's very expensive, and the year I was there, the weather was relatively warm, and there wasn't a lot of snow, so I didn't need to worry about being too cold, and the campus is close to the river, and it's a very beautiful and relaxing environment, with Walmart and Target within a ten minute drive for necessities. The campus is very close to the river, within walking distance, and it's a very beautiful and relaxing environment. For food, there's a Walmart and a Target within 10 minutes by car, and it's very convenient to order delivery. Most of the time, you'd better go to the student cafeteria, because the students who live in the school are mandated to buy the student meals. There are many cafes and restaurants within walking distance, so there's not much problem with the food part.(193字)

I cried for a day and a night when I arrived at the dormitory after all, it's so far away from home, it's not a place you can go back to whenever you want but I think it's very normal I tried to go out of the dormitory to meet friends or go to the restaurants around to talk to people the part of academics is really very, really uncomfortable because the teaching style is very different from that of Taiwan the pressure is very high in the beginning there is a lot of literature and information to be read every day, but I try to adjust my mind and control my time gradually I also use the counseling service provided by the school to come to a place that is completely foreign and doesn't use my mother tongue everyone understands and finds a place that is able to help me But I tried to slowly adjust my mindset and control my time, and gradually I got better at it I also used the counseling service provided by the school It's very understandable to come to a place where you don't know anyone and don't speak your native language It's very important to find an environment and people who can let you talk and express your feelings easily. There's not a lot of culture shock, but after all, you watch a lot of movies and TV shows and you can imagine what it's like to live in the U.S. I was surprised to learn that the locals can leave the house in sub-zero temperatures with short sleeves and shorts on.(271字)

(五)大三出國建議

Don't stay together all the time!!!! I really recommend that you spend the money to go abroad to improve your language skills. If you keep speaking in your mother tongue, you won't have much chance to train your speaking skills! If you can, look for off-campus housing. It's really expensive. If you're looking for on-campus housing, we recommend Kirkland or Hakke. It's kind of like a family room for four people, with their own room, and the bathrooms are shared with the three other people you're living with, not the whole floor. The price isn't that much different from the other dorms that share bathrooms, but if you can, rent outside. If you can rent outside, do it because the school is really expensive, and use the counseling resources, and don't be afraid to look at me differently or something. Counseling is a very common thing in the U.S. Counseling doesn't mean you're mentally ill, you might just need a place to talk, and you might need advice, so don't be afraid to email the professors if you have any questions about your classes, and the professors will be very happy to answer them, and you can take the winter and spring breaks and travel to other continents and countries, and it's a great memory. 1.Ice-skating with friends. 2.Experienced gun shooting with the couple I met in Winona. 3.The couple have their first new born baby, and I was there in that wonderful moment. 4.International Night Food Serving 5.Spend a month in San Jose,CA with my friends, and they took me everywhere for enjoying American life. 6.The first thanksgiving meal with a big turkey in my whole life. 7.Celebrates New year countdown and unboxing christmas gifts with my friends in CA.(77字)
