(一)基本資料

The school I chose is located in the most famous city in Australia: Sydney. This school in Manly is a famous summer resort in Australia. I took the China Airlines direct flight to Sydney on the night of 27/8/2023. This time is very friendly to us. We can sleep on the plane and wake up during the day. I didn't expect that my favorite class would be the class I hated the most at the beginning, which was: food and beverage service. The instructor is: fifita evans. In this class, you need to know a lot of table manners, the placement and usage of tableware, how to fold napkins, and how to help guests order food, greet and seat them, which method to use, and how to collect the plates will make the whole look more coordinated and more Professional, it was really painful when we started carrying three plates. We needed to maintain our posture and walk around the classroom to practice stability. It was really hard. My classmates and I would talk to each other about why we chose this class in the first place. , do it yourself, and even wanted to change this class at one time, but I am very happy that we persisted in the end, because in the hospital major, you must have basic food and beverage service conditions, otherwise you will be worse than others during the internship It’s also hard work and you have to learn from scratch from scratch. The appearance of the school is really dreamy and spectacular, and even the interior decoration is completely like a castle. It will give people the illusion that they are a princess living in the castle, studying and studying in the castle, etc. When I looked at the photos in Taiwan, I just thought it was really beautiful. But when I actually arrived and saw it in person, the feeling was completely different. I was touched and unbelievable. I really came to study abroad! The environment around the school is actually quite convenient. It only takes 10 to 15 minutes to walk to local supermarkets, banks, shops, etc., which is very convenient. It was already approaching the end of winter when I arrived, but since the school is close to the seaside and halfway up a mountain, it was still very cold for me and I needed to wear some clothes to keep warm, especially at night. You don’t need to worry about food at all. Because you live in Xueyao, three meals are included. You only need to go downstairs to eat within a certain time. On holidays, you need to pay more attention to the fact that there are only two meals, and the time will be different from weekdays. ~ If there is no way to go back to eat within the time, you can also ask your classmates to help you tell the kitchen that you need to leave a meal and give your room number. The kitchen will leave a copy in the hot box, and then ask the mod to open the door and you can get the hot meal. ! It’s super convenient and you don’t have to worry about running out of food.(289字)

Since my friends all chose different schools from me, I applied to this school alone and went there alone. This is actually a very big challenge for me, because in Taiwan I am very dependent on friends and need the company of others, and because something happened, I was very anxious and nervous before departure, even at the airport. In terms of schoolwork, as I mentioned before, because I don’t know any other schoolgirls or people in the same class, I often don’t know what to do in the situation, how to register for school, etc. Fortunately, From time to time, I asked a schoolgirl in Taiwan for advice, who happened to be from this school, so I would send messages to ask for advice from him, and he would be very willing to tell me. (We became the best friends now )There are not many types of vegetables in Australia, and I don’t drink soup. I only eat hash browns, cereal, toast, etc. for breakfast, which is really painful for me.(177字)

Daily necessities that cannot be bought in Australia must be prepared in advance, but you don’t need to bring too much beauty products, because there are many Japanese and Korean beauty stores in Australia, and you can buy them all. But the relative price will be very high, and you also need to bring all your personal medicines. Seeing a doctor in Australia is really expensive. I just went to the doctor to see my teeth before without any treatment. I had to pay 70 Australian dollars for the consultation fee, which was super scary! ! You can buy a converter plug in Taiwan in advance. Shopee sells the Xiaomi type, which has a whole row of bases, which is more convenient and has the same wattage. Also be careful if you need to bring your own electrical supplies, as the wattage in Australia and Taiwan are different! Australia is 220W, Taiwan is 110W, the rest is to maintain a happy and expectant mood to welcome life in Australia in the next year~ Also, you don’t actually need to buy a sim card in Taiwan. There is internet at the airport when you get off the plane, and there are vendors selling sim cards when you exit customs. But be sure to remember, don’t rush over as soon as you see one on sale (because that’s what I do), be sure to confirm the telecommunications company, and go to the right after exiting the customs to find the Optus store! ! ! There are three major telecommunications companies in Australia. I personally think that Optus is fine. The CP value is relatively high, but if you still think it is expensive, you can pay attention to local supermarkets in Australia. They sell SIM cards, which will be cheaper, but you will need to buy them every month. Want to buy again. In addition, the discounted items will change every week, so pay more attention.(324字)

For example, I didn't want to take money from my family all the time, so I was already working part-time before I even had an internship. My schoolmate and I worked together in an Italian ice cream shop. We were quite happy at first. However, as we get closer to summer, there will be more and more customers, and we will encounter many customers who feel aggrieved or unreasonable. It’s good to gain experience. ~ In Australia, it is legal to pay taxes, and those who receive cash are called illegal workers. At first, I felt that black jobs were extremely insecure because there were no pensions or other benefits. But later I realized that it actually depends on the nature of the job, because the more classes you take in Australia, the more taxes you will pay. After a long time, you will actually want to get cash (haha). It will just be very troublesome and you have to go to the bank to deposit money.
