The school I chose for my study abroad program is the University of Essex, located in the UK. I am enrolled in the Business Management and Language course, where I study for a year. My classes include Business Strategy, Marketing, Financial Management, and Advanced Language Skills.(46字)

During my study abroad experience at the University of Essex, the class that stood out to me the most was the Spanish language course. This course was taught by Professor Jessie, a passionate and patient instructor whose dynamic teaching methods made learning Spanish an incredibly engaging and enjoyable experience. Professor Jessie had a unique approach to teaching that incorporated a variety of multimedia tools. She frequently used music, films, and group discussions to help us better understand and retain the language. This multi-faceted approach ensured that the learning process was never monotonous. Instead, it was always vibrant and full of life. Each lesson was thoughtfully structured to build on the previous one, gradually increasing our proficiency in both spoken and written Spanish. One of the highlights of the class was how Professor Jessie used real-life examples and practical scenarios to teach vocabulary and grammar. This method not only made the lessons more relatable but also helped us see the practical applications of what we were learning. For instance, she would simulate everyday situations, such as ordering food at a restaurant or asking for directions, which allowed us to practice speaking in a way that felt natural and relevant. Additionally, Professor Jessie placed a strong emphasis on cultural immersion. She encouraged us to actively participate in discussions and role-playing exercises that were designed to reflect the rich cultural nuances of Spanish-speaking countries. These activities significantly enhanced our understanding and appreciation of Hispanic culture. We explored various aspects such as traditions, festivals, history, and even contemporary social issues. This cultural insight was invaluable, as it provided context to the language and made our learning experience much more comprehensive. I highly recommend this Spanish language course to any student interested in learning a new language and exploring different cultures. It provided a solid foundation in Spanish while also enriching my understanding of the broader Hispanic world. There are also over 100 clubs and societies covering a wide range of interests, from academic and professional groups to hobbies and sports clubs. Living on the University of Essex campus is an enriching experience that offers a perfect blend of academic support, recreational facilities, and social activities. One of the key aspects of my routine is prioritising physical fitness, which has significantly enhanced my overall well-being and academic performance. Every morning, I start my day with a jog around the scenic campus. The lush greenery and tranquil lake provide a refreshing backdrop, making the experience enjoyable and invigorating. This morning jog not only wakes me up but also sets a positive tone for the rest of the day. It's a time for me to clear my mind, set daily goals, and appreciate the natural beauty of the campus. Following my jog, I head to the university's state-of-the-art Sports Centre for a gym session. The facility is equipped with modern exercise machines and offers a variety of fitness classes. My regular workouts have helped me build strength, improve my stamina, and maintain a healthy lifestyle. The physical activity also reduces stress and anxiety, enabling me to stay focused and energised throughout my academic activities. In addition to the physical benefits, my commitment to fitness has fostered discipline and time management skills. Balancing my morning exercise routine with academic responsibilities requires careful planning and dedication.
