2023大三出國輔導通報系統 - 留學心得報告[編輯]

(一)基本資料

I went to Adelaide to study and then to Melbourne for internship 2023/7/21-2024/8/15 Take courses such as housekeeping, restaurant service, bartending, coffee making, communication, etc.(25字)

(二)課程學習

I like Neils's classes 102 and 103 the most because they are very interesting and are all practical classes such as cocktail making, coffee making, wine tasting, tableware placement, restaurant etiquette, etc. I have never experienced such classes in Taiwan. So I felt it was very fresh and fun, and the teacher was very nice and caring. We also met a lot of classmates and learned a lot because of the group activities, which was very helpful for the future hotel internship. During the internship, I also thought about the content taught in class, and even now I still remember it. I still remember that I think I can use it in my work in the future.(115字)

(三)生活環境

Actually, the school is very small. It is not like a university but more like a cram school. But it is more convenient because I can find the teacher quickly when I have questions. As for the accommodation, except that it is more expensive, I think it is quite good. There are many facilities and the rooms are new and large. The surrounding environment Adelaide is not very big so it is very convenient to walk to Chinatown or CBD. There are many delicious restaurants nearby and I like it. Australia's weather is my favorite. It is hot and dry, unlike Taiwan which is too humid. The weather is very comfortable and the sky is blue almost every day, which makes you feel good.(124字)

(四)自我成長

I can almost understand the course. The homework part is more difficult. I have to write a lot and the format is not easy to find online. But with the help of the teacher, I can finish it quickly. All the teachers always say that if I have any questions, I can ask them, which is quite helpful. The supervisors were very patient in teaching us the difficulties we encountered during the internship, so there was nothing we couldn’t handle. The cultural shock was only from the natives because we were chased for money once, which was quite scary. They even asked us when we got to the dormitory. There was knocking on the glass outside. I thought the police would intervene, but they just gave us verbal advice. Luckily, we ignored them and they left. It’s just that sometimes when you go out at night, you will feel a shadow.(153字)

(五)大三出國建議

I think junior students can improve their English because their accent is quite different from that of Taiwan, and they even speak very fast with many connected words. So you can listen to more TV series with the accent of your chosen country, and you should also fully understand the course before choosing the one you want. Don't wait until you get to school to find out what classes you will take and bring all the medicine you can because seeing a doctor is expensive and troublesome. You can also learn about the local culture in advance to avoid making a fool of yourself.(104字)

(六)其他

I went to not only Adelaide and Melbourne, but also Sydney, Brisbane and the Gold Coast. They were all very fun and unforgettable memories.(24字)
