2023大三出國輔導通報系統 - 留學心得報告[編輯]

(一)基本資料

The place where I studied abroad in my junior year was International of Management Sydney in Australia. We started classes for three months in early September last year, moved to the urban area for a work placement at the end of November, and didn't return to Taiwan Province until mid-August this year.(52字)

(二)課程學習

One of my favorite classes is Bar&Mixology. In this class, we not only learn bartending, but also learn how a Bartender interacts with guests while mixing wine. Besides, we also learn all kinds of alcohol brands. I think the great thing about this class is that we often have the opportunity to teach outside the campus, such as visiting wineries, going to beer bars to learn how to taste beer, and going to factories to mix our own wine, etc. But after I started my internship, I regret that I didn't learn more about alcohol brands. Although we sometimes can't understand the speech because of his heavy accent, he will give us serious suggestions and introduce us to many internship places, so people who have taken his classes like him very much.(133字)

I think Sydney is definitely the best place in terms of living environment. I still remember the day when I first arrived in Sydney. The weather was really fine. The sun was out, but it wasn't very hot. The air was cool, and it didn't rain as often as Taiwan Province. Although our school and dormitory are on the mountain, they are very beautiful and a castle, and at the foot of the mountain is Manly Beach. We usually go down the mountain when we don't have classes. I think the atmosphere there will make people feel very motivated. When there are no activities, students will go down to play billiards or piano. I think the environment there is very helpful to students' mental health.(125字)

(四)自我成長

A class in Sydney International School of Management lasts for three hours. Although we only need to take four courses, a class takes three hours at a time. I think this is a difficult thing for us to get used to, because we only have 50 minutes at a time in Taiwan Province, so everyone is very tired when we start class, especially my schedule has to take nine hours one day. Although we only have two classes a week, one of them is really painful, and we often fall asleep before eleven o'clock in the evening. And for breakfast, they all eat yogurt, cereal, scrambled eggs, hash browns, etc. There won't be as many choices as breakfast shops in Taiwan Province, but it's a memory for us.(127字)

(五)大三出國建議

I think if I want to give advice, I must be based on my own regret or glad that I have something to do. I am glad that I had a part-time job before the internship, which not only made me practice my oral English, but also made me know how to communicate with Australians, and it also helped me during the internship interview. Most importantly, it also made me pocket money. What I regret is that I didn't know more about wine, because Australians also love drinking and have strict regulations on wine. If I know more about wine first, it will be more helpful to the internship. But on the whole, I think every choice I made in Australia is right. And he will tell me a lot about the hotel that we don't know, because only the two of us are from Taiwan Province. Since I started working, I decided not to take money from my parents. I paid all the rent and living expenses myself. Finally, I brought a sum of money back to Taiwan Province. I think this year was a very important year in my life. I became independent, and it also changed my timid personality, because I had to be responsible for my every action abroad. I think I became not afraid to express my opinions after I came back from Australia, which should be the best gift for me. My advice to students who are ready to go to Australia is that even if you do what you want to do, it doesn't matter if you hesitate a little. Only when you do it will you know whether you are suitable or not. Even if you are not, you must have accumulated some experience. Next time, you will be able to tell a richer experience and let the interviewer know that you have really learned something in your previous job. I think the great thing about Australia is that no matter what you do there, no one will look down on you, because every job needs manpower, and it is regarded as a low-paid job in Taiwan Province.(356字)
