From my point of view, my favorite class absolutely was cocktail class. I was a person quite interested in wine. In this course, I had the opportunity to experience the process of mixing wine and creating unique drink recipes. Teacher Niels Sloos was a very professional teacher. Although it was our first time learning bartending, the teacher still was very patient and taught us every step of the way. At first, he started the course by introducing distinct types of alcohol, like whisky, vodka, rum, and so on. After that, he introduced the use of different bartending tools to us, such as shakers, measuring cups, filters, and different wine glasses. I learned a lot of professional knowledge from him, as well as bartending recipes and techniques, he also told us that we should know the alcoholic strength of each alcoholic before mixing, not all alcohols can be mixed. The most interesting part of the bartending class was mixing different ingredients freely and experimenting with flavors and garnishes. Also, learned about the interactions and controlled proportions of different ingredients in a variety of classic and innovative cocktails. At the end of class, the teacher would let us taste our cocktails and share our cocktails with classmates. My favorite drink was the Margarita, which is made with Tequila, usually 100% blue agave tequila, then triple sec is added for sweetness, lime juice to balance out the sweetness of the triple sec, and the last step added some salt to decorate the glass for flavor. In addition to being a basic cocktail, it was also an extremely popular cocktail in bars. In the last class, our school arranged for some hotel executives, to come to our campus to let us experience being bartenders for one day. Through this experience, I was able to improve my ability and confidence in bartending.(306字)

International College of Hotel Management (ICHM) was a hotel college located in Adelaide, South Australia. It has extensive partnerships with many corporate group hotel and tourism companies around the world, and students can gain practical experience through internships and industry programs. The diverse school environment attracted students from all over the world, allowing them to interact with students from different countries and expand their international views. The climate was extremely hot and dry in the summer, and the temperatures in winter ranged from 10-15°C. It rains a lot in the winter and hardly ever rains in the summer. I lived in Scape Adelaide Central (UniSA), this accommodation was quite safe and secure, with 24-hour help at the front desk. It was located in the center of Adelaide, and close to the most famous department store in this area (Rundle Mall), where you can get all the necessities. The transportation system was also very convenient, it provided buses, trams, train stations, and electric scooters for rent. Furthermore, there are many famous sightseeing spots, such as Glenelg Beach, Victoria Square, the Art Gallery of South Australia, Adelaide Zoo, Adelaide Central Market, etc. Besides these places, one of my favorite activities was the Royal Adelaide Show. It was a flash mob held every year. The whole park was full of amusement facilities, animal shows, and exhibitions of crops, handicrafts, and food. This was a comprehensive exhibition displaying agriculture and local culture, as well as an entertaining event for a group of friends and family.(252字)

The first thing I had to overcome was a change in mindset and adapting to the changes in life. Such as climate, the language, and local food. When I first came to Australia, it took me a while to get over the cultural differences. The pace of the local people was very relaxed which is different from the Taiwanese. Although English is the main language in Australia, I still need to familiarize myself with the local accent and the local way of life. It took me a long time to adapt to an unfamiliar environment. At first, I felt confused and lonely because of the cultural differences, it was also easy to feel lonely when I separated from my family and friends, but over time I gradually learned to adapt and found a balance between maintaining my cultural identity and integrating into the local life. At the same time, it was a good moment to plan my life schedule and learn how to do time management, which can effectively reduce the stress of unfamiliar surroundings. I realized that I would not be afraid to seek resources and support when I encountered academic challenges and the difficulties of living. I can discuss this with my professors or classmates and seek their advice. Also, can make use of the tutoring services provided by the school to enhance my learning ability and improve my communication skills. It was important to learn how to study independently and manage myself. When facing complicated problems, I always remind myself to keep a positive attitude and mind. It was an inevitable part of growing up. Overall, no matter whether it was a difficult life, an academic challenge, or a culture shock, it can be overcome through prompt adjustment, adaptability, and asking for help from others. These experiences not only made me stronger but also left me with valuable memories in my life experience.(316字)

For those junior students who are planning to study abroad in Australia, I would like to offer a few suggestions to help you succeed and reap the rewards of this important stage of your life. First of all, it is crucial to be well prepared. Before you go abroad, you should get to know the country and the school you are going to, including the culture, living habits, climate, and academic environment. This will help you adapt to the new environment faster and avoid embarrassment and misunderstanding when interacting with the locals. In addition, regularly upgrading your English skills and having a basic knowledge of the local lifestyle will make your daily life easier. Secondly, learn to manage your time and adapt to distinct styles of teaching. When you study in Australia, you may face completely different teaching methods and assessment standards, so developing time management skills is especially important. Making a reasonable study plan and completing your assignments on time will not only help you cope with academic pressure but also give you more time to explore the local culture and participate in various social activities. Third, keep an open mind and try new things. Studying abroad is a fantastic opportunity to get in touch with different cultures and perspectives. Participating in local social activities and making friends from all over the world will enrich your study experience and broaden your international perspective. Finally, take care of your physical and mental health. Being away from your familiar surroundings can be lonely and stressful. It is important to seek support at this time. Whether staying connected with family and friends, this can help you through the most tough times.(279字)

During my studies abroad in Australia, I traveled to many cities and experienced my first right-hand drive. One of my most memorable road trips was my friends and I went to Uluru, also known as the "navel of the world", in central Australia. Uluru was a huge sandstone rock formed over 600 million years ago. It was not only a natural wonder, but also a cultural and spiritual symbol. On a week-long trip, we went to Coober Pedy to experience living in a cave house and hitting the hot spots where the movie was set. The deserted and abandoned town of Coober Pedy has made its living by mining, and after a hundred years of mining, it has become the world's largest opal producer. The most impressive part of the trip was when we went into Uluru National Park to watch the sunrise over the big rocks, it was the most beautiful sunrise I've ever seen in my life. We also snuck into the park and watched the star-studded Milky Way sky at night. Those days were like living in the desert, we were surrounded by a bunch of flies. The circumstances of Uluru even no trees except weeds and highway, and nearly no cars on the road. Sometimes we can’t even get a mobile phone signal, and there were almost no restaurants or stores. But this trip has given me the feeling of unlocking a milestone in my life and I will never forget this experience.(247字)
