I study at Charles University, located in the Czech Republic, affiliated with the Faculty of Social Sciences. Situated across various locales in Prague, the university's campus provided a diverse learning environment. During the initial semester, I engaged in four courses encompassing Financial Accounting, Czech language, American Politics and Federalism, and Czech Republic in a nutshell. Subsequently, in the following semester, I chose three courses focusing on Industrial Organization, Security Issues in Japan and the Far East Asia and Introductory Banking . Additionally, I capitalized on the opportunity to explore various European destinations, enhancing my cultural understanding and breadth of experience.(99字)

During my studies in the Czech Republic, I attended classes mainly on three campuses. The furthest one is the Faculty of Social Sciences, but it is also my favorite. It features a newly built library and café, providing a modern learning environment. The classrooms are well-equipped, offering an excellent atmosphere for study. The dormitory where I live has excellent surrounding amenities. There are nearby Vietnamese and Czech supermarkets, such as Billa and Kaufland, making it very convenient to buy daily necessities. It’s a 10-minute walk from the dormitory to the metro station, and I usually take the metro to school. Additionally, there is a bus stop outside the dormitory that offers direct service to the airport, which is very convenient for traveling during holidays. The transportation facilities around the dormitory are very comprehensive. The bus stop right outside provides a direct route to the airport, making travel very convenient. It’s only a 10-minute walk to the metro station, which makes daily commuting easy and quick. The climate in the Czech Republic is quite pleasant, especially in spring and autumn when the weather is cool and not humid. It snows in winter, but the indoor heating keeps it warm, so it doesn't feel too cold. In winter, you only need a down jacket and a long-sleeve hoodie, and if you’re still cold, you can wear thermal underwear. Regarding food, I mostly cook in the dormitory, which has significantly improved my cooking skills. Occasionally, I opt for eating out, with McDonald's and Korean cuisine being my go-to choices. I often head to the city center for meals. In summary, my study life in the Czech Republic is very convenient and fulfilling. Whether it's the school facilities, dormitory conditions, or surrounding amenities, I am extremely satisfied.(296字)

Last summer, I participated in the GSIP program, and I already had a month's experience of living abroad, so when I arrived in the Czech Republic, I quickly adapted to life abroad, and I didn't even have the problem of jet lag. At first, I was only worried that the Czechs would be very cold and xenophobic. Before I came to the Czech Republic, I heard that the Czechs are very cold and may ignore you if you don't use the Czech language to communicate with them, but I realized that this is not the case, there are still very warm Czechs who greet you with smiles and try their best to help you when you are in trouble even if you don't speak the language. Of course, showing kindness can open up a bridge of communication. In the last semester, I enrolled in Czech language course and learned common Czech phrases. One day, after class, I ran into the housemaster. I greeted him in Czech and he immediately smiled at me and asked me how I was feeling today in Czech. Even though it was just a simple and brief conversation, it made me feel very warm and filled with a sense of accomplishment. If I have to mention the difficulties I faced in the course, it may be the financial accounting course last semester, because I have not taken accounting-related courses in the past, so without the foundation of accounting, I just chose this course because I am interested in accounting. In the process of learning, it was very frustrating to learn, and I couldn't digest the course content fast enough to keep up with the progress of the teacher's teaching, so I could only continue to look for information on the Internet, add some basic concepts, and then link them to the course content on my own, and then I could slowly keep up with the progress over time, and because I had taken a course in financial accounting last semester, I was more able to understand the structure and calculations of the financial statements in my learning of banking in the semester. (五)大三出國建議

Studying abroad is an exciting and challenging experience, and I strongly recommend that you make the most of every opportunity during this period, especially learning the local language, making foreign friends, and planning your year abroad well in advance. First of all, it is very important to learn the local language. Even if your school offers an English program, mastering the local language will help you adapt to the environment, deal with daily chores, and gain a deeper understanding of the local culture. Language is not only a tool for communication, but also a key to understanding the local people. Attending language courses or interacting with local people can greatly improve your language skills and confidence in communication. Secondly, going abroad is a great opportunity to expand your network. Don't stick to your familiar circle, open your mind to meet people from different backgrounds and countries. This not only enriches your exchange life, but also broadens your international perspective and understanding of multiculturalism. Finally, it is wise to plan your year abroad well in advance. Knowing and arranging all aspects of your study, travel and life in advance can make your exchange period more relaxing and enjoyable. For example, planning a trip to a neighboring country in advance not only saves you money on airfare and accommodation, but also helps you to organize your trip and avoid the hassle of making impromptu plans. All in all, going abroad for exchange is an excellent opportunity to learn a new language, make friends and explore the world. We hope that you can make full use of this time to broaden your horizons, improve yourselves, and lay a solid foundation for your future life.(281字)
