My favorite course was "Security Issues in Japan and the Far East Asia" taught by Dr. Takashi Hosoda. Every time before class, seeing the teacher greeting us with a smile on his face always makes me feel happy and looking forward to it. This atmosphere also allows me to focus more on class. I was surprised and grateful that the teacher sent the next day's study materials to our mailbox the day before class. Based on my experience of teaching in the Czech Republic for a year, not every teacher does this. I think the reason why Dr. Hosoda did this is to remind us to preview the content in class, rather than giving us all the materials at once to make us feel like we are reading a book at once. This arrangement fully reflects the teacher's thoughtfulness and intention. In class, the teacher will explain seemingly complex content in depth, but his explanations always allow us to understand quickly. Teachers often ask questions, prompting us to try to understand and express our own opinions, which greatly enhances our sense of participation and learning effect. The course focuses on Europe's influence on security issues in Asia, especially students' concerns that some Asian countries may follow the lead of some European countries. For example, there has been much discussion about the impact of Russia's behavioral patterns on countries such as China, Russia, and North Korea. These topics are particularly fascinating because they are closely related to the geopolitical situation in today's world. In class, the teacher particularly emphasized the anti-Western ideas of Beijing, China, Moscow, Russia, and Pyongyang, North Korea. These topics are not only of global concern, but are particularly important for those of us who come to study in the Czech Republic. Looking back on my study experience in Taiwan, I hardly ever explored these related topics in depth in any of my courses. I recommend students coming to the Czech Republic to take this course. After all, this is a topic that everyone is concerned about in recent years. I think it is necessary for students coming to the Czech Republic to learn about it. I have hardly been able to talk about this related topic in any courses in Taiwan.(374字)

The school's campuses are located in different places, and you have to take the subway or bus to attend classes in different buildings. The class environment in each building is very clean and the atmosphere is great. Students from different countries express their opinions during class in order to improve their performance. It makes me feel that I am really studying in college instead of making me look like Older students. The accommodation environment is very good, not far from the subway station. There is also Yazhou Supermarket and Supermarket Billa near the subway station, which is only a five-minute walk away. There is a small student restaurant next to it. The dormitories in other areas have gyms you can go to, which can be reached in a minute or two on foot. You can buy a year's membership to the gym at a very cheap price. There is a dormitory manager on the first floor, as well as a washing machine and a dryer. However, the dryer is difficult to dry the clothes. I dried them for an hour to get the clothes dry. The local climate is very sunny, it rarely rains, and it snows in winter. No matter which time it is, people want to go out for a walk and have different experiences. The dormitory has a shared kitchen, toilet and bathroom. However, the bathroom door is not completely covered, and although there are signs for boys or girls outside the bathroom door, no one seems to care about it, so be careful. I personally fine with that.(262字)

The most difficult part when I first came to the Czech Republic was asking for directions. Later, I learned a little Czech (Czech as a Foreign Language I, taught by Teacher Babora) and was willing to use a little Czech to ask questions in life, such as directions and prices of things. The transportation here is very good, which is really something Taiwan needs to learn from. One of the culture shocks was that I was a little scared when I saw girls coming out of the shower in public bathrooms. I often wondered if I was in the wrong place. Also, be careful that your things may be stolen. There are many homeless people here. I have never encountered a thief, but be careful. I have a friend who just bought a pizza and his pizza was snatched away by a homeless person. The architectural style here is very luxurious, and even the library is as big as a palace. I will definitely miss the weather and the architecture. There are not many toilets in the Czech Republic. I am a person who suffers from diarrhea very easily, so I often need to bring coins. Most of the toilets outside cost 10 kronor per visit. You can also look online for free toilets, but there aren't usually many. The toilets in the school are the best, free, plentiful and clean. Some of the sidewalks outside are uneven, designed to prevent the road from becoming too slippery when it snows. Although it usually feels weird to walk on, when it snows, I have to thank them for designing the road like this.(271字)

I don’t have much advice for my fellow students. You need to buy yourself an internet connection, otherwise not all of them can speak English when you come here and ask passers-by. Also remember to buy a transportation ticket. Sometimes when you get on a transportation bus or subway, there will be ticket inspectors to check your tickets. In public transportation, that is, the subway or bus, the red light on the door means it will open automatically, and the green light means it needs to be pressed manually. There are no yellow lights on the road, so you have to pay attention to your walking speed, because sometimes the green light will turn into red in an instant. Remember to bring your student ID card (light blue) and dormitory card (mine is green) when you go out, because you need to swipe your student ID card outside the dormitory door to open the door. After entering the dormitory, sometimes the dormitory administrator will check the dormitory card. When you use the shared kitchen, remember to take your things back to your room. My dishwashing liquid was stolen four times. Remember to check online and note the location of the free toilets. Carry some cash with you to avoid running out of cash when you need it. For example, if you can't find a free toilet, but there are no coins to put in when you need to use the toilet, McDonald's toilets also charge a fee. Be careful with your belongings, others may steal them.(257字)

(六)其他

There are many very tall girls here, and there are even more beautiful ones. The people here are very polite and not xenophobic, unlike many people who told me that they are not friendly towards foreigners. (36字)
